Guide for Reviewers: Double-blind peer review at Peripherals

<jats:p>This document sets out how double-blind peer review is conducted at Peripherals. It covers accepting an invitation, conflicts of interest, competence and confidentiality, how manuscripts are read according to their category, the distinction between essential and strengthening revisions, and what each recommendation means. It follows the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers and the COPE Core Practices, adapted to the journal, and applies to Issue 2 (2026) and subsequent issues until superseded.</jats:p>
