Abstract
The article also proposes that the Philosophy of Nature of Feyerabend has significant implications for science education in the fields of methodological pluralism, critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and epistemological diversity. His criticism of scientific rationalism has the potential to help teachers break loose from the rigid views of science in the textbook and help students develop an understanding of science as an historically, culturally, and socially situated activity. The ideas of Feyerabend, however, must be used carefully in the educational process, and one must not overdo relativism because it could lead to a decrease in the ability to make a distinction between accepted scientific knowledge and unsubstantiated belief. Thus, this study brings a reflection of the thoughts of Feyerabend to the current science education, scientific literacy, educational environment, and pluralistic pedagogy debates.
