<jats:p>This paper proposes a reformulation of educational goals that responds to the evolving socio-historical demands of the 21st century. We argue that any meaningful reform must clearly distinguish which elements of the traditional education system should be preserved, which should be modernized, and which should be newly introduced. Our approach is grounded in Eastern philosophy, particularly the doctrine of Yin-Yang interdependence, and complemented by the scientific methodology of systems analysis. By integrating these perspectives, we offer a renewed framework for defining educational goals that emphasizes human development, cognitive flexibility, and the cultivation of 21st-century competencies.</jats:p>
