Abstract

<jats:p>Institutional interoperability depends not only on structured evidence, but also on persistent institutional identity.</jats:p> <jats:p>The Global Entity Credential Identifier (EGC ID) introduces an institutional identity architecture that establishes persistent, governed, and verifiable identity for evidence attribution within the Evidence Infrastructure Architecture.</jats:p> <jats:p>Developed upon the PADV Methodology and the broader Evidence Infrastructure Architecture, EGC ID supports evidence continuity, interoperability, governance consistency, and institutional trust while preserving the authority of external reporting standards, assurance providers, regulators, and governance institutions.</jats:p>
