Abstract
<jats:p>The educational system of modern China is considered. The main content of the philosophical and ideological foundations of the Chinese education system in the historical perspective of its formation is revealed. It is noted that the philosophy of education in China, which emerged at the beginning of the 20th century, was shaped by Western ideas, but at the same time retained a strong connection with national philosophical traditions and millennia-old cultural customs. It is shown that the modern Chinese education system is the result of a synthesis of traditional values and Western concepts, which ensures its uniqueness and high adaptability in the context of global transformations.</jats:p>
