Human potential as a factor in social development

<jats:p>This monograph is devoted to the current issue of human potential in the context of social development. The authors demonstrate that human potential is determined by a complex set of interacting factors and determinants. These include civilizational foundations, institutional characteristics, value patterns, sociocultural norms, governance systems, narratives and discourses in the communicative space, the emotional mood of society, and so on. A distinctive feature of the book is its epanded interpretation and range of research areas on “human potential,” encompassing not only the traditional study of economic, educational, and skill characteristics, demographic indicators, and population health, but also motivational, personal, ethical, cultural, emotional, and many other characteristics. The authors share the idea of the diverse forms of human potential and the possibilities for its realization in contemporary Russian society.</jats:p>
