Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook on professional English off ers a systematic analysis of logical fallacies in political and diplomatic rhetoric, exploring their role in argumentative strategies and presenting practical methods for countering manipulative techniques. Special attention is given to developing skills in the critical analysis of authentic English-language texts and video materials, identifying manipulative strategies and understanding their aims. The textbook also focuses on forming the ability to present arguments competently in English, free from logical fallacies, in professional communicative situations such as interviews, briefings, and other business communication formats. It is intended for English learners majoring in “International Relations” and “Foreign Regional Studies”, as well as for anyone interested in political discourse, the logic of argumentation, persuasive strategies, or information influence technologies.</jats:p>
