Black and “Nordestina” seeks to unravel the different ways in which politics and policies have impacted the lives of Black “Nordestinas”, and explores potential pathways for the future, envisioning a society where these individuals can thrive.A story that does not shy away from the shadows of colonialism and slavery and dares to hope for a future of inclusion and equity, this book is ideal reading for students of Latinx Studies, History, Politics, Black Studies, Colonialism, and Cultural Anthropology.
