Abstract
<jats:p>The publication deals with the solution of problems in thermal protection of buildings using a selected computer program. It shows the theoretical preparation before entering parameters into the computer program, as well as the basic formulas for the calculation that are used in the computer program. In this part of the publication, ten problems are solved, which concern the calculation, assessment and dimensioning of thermal resistance and thermal transmittance of inhomogenous external walls and the calculation, assessment and dimensioning of thermal resistance, thermal transmittance and thermal effusivity of floors on the ceiling and floors on the terrain.</jats:p>
