Abstract
<jats:p>The publication deals with the solution of problems in thermal protection of buildings using a selected computer program. It shows the theoretical preparation before entering parameters into the computer program, as well as the basic formulas for the calculation, which are used in the computer program. In this part of the publication, sixteen problems are solved, which concern the calculation, assessment and dimensioning of thermal resistance and thermal transmittance, calculation of temperature distribution, moisture regime and annual moisture balance of external walls and roofs.</jats:p>
