<jats:p>This article presents a comparative analysis of international experience in lending to entrepreneurial activities of the population and examines the specific features of modern mechanisms for providing financial support to business entities, lending instruments, and financial incentives provided by the government in developed and developing countries. The study evaluates the role of bank lending, microfinance, guarantee mechanisms, and subsidization in lending to entrepreneurial activities of the population, and identifies the possibilities of applying international experience under the conditions of Uzbekistan. Based on the results of the analysis, scientific and practical proposals and recommendations have been developed to improve the efficiency of financing entrepreneurial activities of the population, expand access to credit resources, and enhance lending mechanisms.</jats:p>
