<jats:p>This article analyzes risk management issues in the banking sector of Uzbekistan in terms of traditional and non-traditional risks. The study substantiates the importance of credit, liquidity, and market risks in banking activities, as well as the necessity of their effective management. In addition, the impact of non-traditional risks related to operational, technological, reputational, environmental, and social factors-emerging as a result of the increasing complexity of the economic, technological, and institutional environment in recent years on the stability of banks is examined.</jats:p>
