<jats:p>This study examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of assessing the effectiveness of resource use and stakeholder cooperation in the management of tourist destinations. A tourist destination is interpreted as a multi-subject socio-economic system that combines natural, historical-cultural, infrastructural, financial, information and human resources. As part of the study, an index of the effectiveness of the use of tourist resources, an index of stakeholder cooperation and an integrated model of destination management efficiency are proposed. This approach allows for a comparative assessment of tourist areas, identification of weak points in management, allocation of resources to priority areas and making evidence-based strategic decisions. As a result of the study, practical proposals were developed to form a resource passport in tourist destinations, group stakeholders based on the "impact-benefit" matrix, strengthen the activities of regional coordination structures, introduce digital monitoring systems, and expand the participation of local residents in management.</jats:p>
