<jats:p>The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of using foreign cluster models in the formation and development of silk clusters. The need to adapt its internal working mechanisms to the characteristics of the national industry, rather than copying foreign experience as a ready-made organizational model, is justified. The analysis comparatively studies clusters based on scientific research and innovation, industrial supplier networks, industrial districts based on design and brand, state-agricultural harmony, product strategy based on cultural heritage, specialized markets and models based on a circular economy.</jats:p>
