<jats:p>The article examines the theoretical foundations of the public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism in the development of industrial enterprises. It substantiates that the existing economic-theoretical literature is oriented predominantly toward infrastructure procurement and identifies a scientific gap in industry-specific PPP theory. As a result of the study, an author’s definition of industrial public-private partnership, its three-dimensional typology, and a conceptual model of innovation-investment transformation (IIT) are developed. Building on the model, four theoretical regularities characteristic of industrial PPP are formulated and proposed as a methodological basis for assessing the innovation-investment efficiency of industrial enterprises and improving the mechanisms of protecting projects from risks.</jats:p>
