<jats:p>This article examines guarantees of interaction between state authorities and local governments in the context of constitutional regulation. This study analyzes scholarly approaches to guarantees of interaction between state authorities and local governments presented in the theoretical literature, as well as individual constitutional and legal norms. Based on the conducted constitutional and legal research, it identifies the guarantees underlying interaction between state authorities and local governments. The purpose of this article is to identify guarantees of interaction between state authorities and local governments in the context of constitutional regulation and to distinguish between them. This article examines issues that have been addressed to varying degrees in the works of various authors, but also addresses issues that have not been the subject of separate, comprehensive academic discussion or legal research. Based on the legal analyses conducted, the article presents the guarantees of interaction between state authorities and local self-government bodies in the context of constitutional regulations, considering them as a unified and interconnected system of mutual guarantees, which ensures balance between these bodies, mutual responsibility, effective cooperation, as well as the stability and unity of the entire system of public authority.</jats:p>
