<jats:p>The purpose of this article is to reveal the age-specific characteristics of adolescents that play a key role in shaping their aesthetic perception and aesthetic feelings. We will refer to fundamental theories that uncover the adolescent’s cognitive and emotional readiness, and we will also discuss how their age-related psychological characteristics influence the various manifestations of aesthetic preferences.</jats:p>
