Abstract

Governance is no longer a monolith of traditional structures; it is a dynamic field being reshaped by the evolving discourse on gender. "Gender and Governance: Shifting Roles, Emerging Realities" seeks to explore the intersectionality of policy-making, social justice and the changing landscape of leadership. The impetus for this work stems from a critical observation although global narratives around gender equality have gained momentum; the practical application within governance frameworks often lags or faces unforeseen challenges. This work provides a comprehensive analysis of how gender roles are being redefined in the corridors of power and how these shifts impact societal progress. It also analyses the contemporary "emerging realities" that influence policy outcomes and provide a platform for academic discourse. It is anticipated that this publication will serve as a valuable academic resource for researchers, faculty members, students and policymakers engaged in gender studies and governance discourse.
