Abstract
<p> This conference proceedings volume brings together academic papers and practical experiences relating to literature-based approaches in a coercive context. Authors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland highlight the links between reading projects and delinquency, education, reflection on values, and literary dialogue. The publication offers a comprehensive overview of the criminological and literary-didactic foundations, as well as experiences from various reading projects for young offenders. The work is aimed at professionals, researchers and members of the judiciary who wish to understand and critically assess the potential of literary work with young people. With contributions by Sabine Anselm | Dirk Baier | Melanie Ehring | Miryam Eser Davolio | Eva Hammer-Bernhard | Carola Hantzsch | Maria Kamenowski | Miriam Mosbach | Stefan Pohlmann | Cornelia Rosebrock | Anette Sosna | Caroline Steindorff-Classen | Ariane Suermann This title is also available as Open Access. </p>
