Abstract

<p>The general theme of the proceedings of the 33rd annual conference of the Gesellschaft Junge Zivilrechtswissenschaft e.V., which took place in Nuremberg from September 13 to 15, 2023, is "Legal Facts in Private Law". The integration of empirical research methods, such as fact research in law in particular, into private law scholarship enables well-founded findings to be gained that enable evidence-based design and interpretation of legal norms. The combination of theory and empiricism can further develop private law in such a way that it meets the needs of our society. Through the innovative contributions of the authors, the conference proceedings offer an incentive to open up to new ideas in this field. With contributions by Prof. Dr. David Bartlitz | Alexander Egberts, LL.M., M.A. | Lukas Hollerung | Mag.
