Abstract
<jats:p>This article examines issues related to the activities of non-profit organizations, particularly those with a social focus, which play a crucial role in the development of modern Russian society. It assesses the dynamics of the number of non-profit organizations, including those with a social focus, their relative importance, their sources of funding, and their industry affiliation. The main regions of their operation are examined. Conclusions are drawn and key areas for their strategic development are identified.</jats:p>
