Պարը՝ Հայաստանի քաղաքացիական եւ քաղաքական շարժումներում (2015 թ., 2018 թ.)

<jats:p>Based on the field research conducted during the civic and political movements in Yerevan called “Electric Yerevan” (2015) and “Velvet Revolution” (2018), an attempt is made to characterize, typify and analyze the dance “scenarios” of the demonstrations as a sound-movement text of protest against the government’s decisions, and a reaffirmation of identity. The dances formed during these movements are considered from three perspectives: Ƈ Group dances selected according to the preliminary script of the movement organizers and accompanied by recorded music, Ƈ Spontaneous performances of patriotic songs and dances of various ethnographic groups, live singing and playing (zurna, dhol), Ƈ Improvised performances of demonstrators (single dances, couple dances, and round dances).</jats:p>
