<jats:p>Dance, with its archaic origins, is a vital branch of arts that serves as a form of self-expression and communication. It transcends mere artistic display, allowing individuals to convey their feelings and thoughts. Initially, dance began as rhythmic movements, later accompanied by melody, and over the centuries, it has evolved into various forms and functions. The research of Armenian dance was mainly carried by art historians and ethnographers ։ Tigran Chituni, Komitas, Srbuhi Lisitsyan, Zhenya Khachatryan, Emma Petrosyan and others. Types of dance, forms of performance, content, and geographical features were studied.</jats:p>
