Abstract

The psychological states of participants of the Second Karabakh War are shaped by intense stress and traumatic experiences encountered during wartime. Combat exposure may be accompanied, at the clinical-psychopathological level, by post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depressive states, emotional tension, and sleep disturbances. From a pathopsychological perspective, disturbances in emotional stability, changes in cognitive processes such as thinking and attention, as well as difficulties in behavior and adaptive mechanisms are observed. Therapeutic approaches include psychotherapy, psychological rehabilitation, psychoeducation, and social support interventions. Comprehensive interventions in this field play a significant role in stabilizing the psychological condition of war participants and supporting their reintegration into society.
