<jats:p>Yesterday the Rogue Scholar science blog archive started using Crossref schema 5.5 that was released last Friday. The most relevant change in the new schema for Rogue Scholar is the introduction of a dedicated content type blog post (as type posted_content, subtype blog). This makes it easier to cite blog posts with Crossref DOIs as many citation styles (e.g. APA) format blog posts differently than preprints.</jats:p>
