Խորհրդային գենդերային մշակույթի ձևավորման և փոխակերպումների գործընթացները Լենինականում (1920–1940 թթ.)

<jats:p>The establishment of Soviet rule brought significant changes throughout Armenia, including in Alexandropol, which was renamed Leninakan in 1924. In a city previously known for its strong artisanal traditions, major transformations began to take place, leading to shifts not only in the population’s main occupations but also in economic, social, and family rela-tions, and consequently, in other aspects of everyday life. The article is devoted to a brief analysis of the formation of the new Soviet culture and gender transformations in Leninakan between 1920 and 1940, focusing on the local features of changes in women’s social roles. Soviet gender policy aimed to shape a new social order in which women were to become active participants in production and socio-political life.</jats:p>
