ПЕЧОРСКИЙ И ТАЙМЫРСКИЙ УГОЛЬНЫЕ БАССЕЙНЫ: ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ УВЕЛИЧЕНИЯ ПРОИЗВОДСТВА СЫРЬЯ И РАСШИРЕНИЯ РЕСУРСНОЙ БАЗЫ

<jats:p>Два соседних угольных бассейна Приполярья — Печорский и Таймырский — непосредственно примыкают к побережью океана и трассе Севморпути. В статье рассматриваются основные месторождения и ресурсы угля, а также возможности их активной разработки с транспортировкой добытого угля на экспорт в восточном и западном направлениях. Приведена краткая характеристика Печорского и Таймырского бассейнов и показана возможность существенно увеличить сырьевой потенциал последнего. Общий интерес к освоению угольных бассейнов продиктован их близостью к Северному морскому пути и необходимостью увеличивать грузопоток по транспортному коридору.</jats:p> <jats:p>Two adjacent coal basins of the Subarctic region — the Pechora and Taimyr basins — are directly adjacent to the ocean coast and the Northern Sea Route. This article examines the main coal deposits and resources, as well as the potential for their active development and the transportation of extracted coal for export in eastern and western directions. A brief description of the Pechora and Taimyr basins is provided, demonstrating the potential for significantly increasing the latter’s resource potential. The shared interest in developing these coal basins is driven by their proximity to the Northern Sea Route and the need to increase freight traffic along the transport corridor.</jats:p>
