Abstract
<jats:p>This article analyzes international standards and mechanisms for protecting the rights of migrants, including international treaties adopted within specialized organizations, regional international treaties, and bilateral treaties directly regulating migration, as well as modern migration trends in international law. In addition, important changes in these international treaties, legal gaps, problems (restrictions) requiring solutions, as well as compliance by states with the provisions of this treaty and shortcomings arising in the process of their practical application were studied. In this regard, in addition to the above, the opinions, suggestions and objections expressed by foreign and national scientists on the protection of migrants’ rights were studied and analyzed, and relevant proposals and comments were given on improving international legal norms.</jats:p>
