Abstract
This study reports for the first time Inocybe salicis Kuhner in the Iberian Peninsula, through morphological and phylogenetic analyses of recent gatherings made in an artificial wetland in the Community of Madrid. A detailed description based on these samples is provided; the original material cited in the protologue and deposited in the Geneva Herbarium (G) is examined and sequenced, which, after a detailed review of its typification, is designated here as the lectotype; the holotype of I. straminipes, a name considered conspecific, is studied; and its morphological and molecular affinities with closely related species are discussed.
