The Use of Full and Short Definite Article Forms with Detached Appositions

<jats:p>The paper examines cases of variation in written usage regarding full and short definite article forms with detached appositions consisting of masculine singular proper nouns, as well as the relevant codification rules. The causes of errors are analysed, and substantiated recommendations are provided.</jats:p>
