Abstract
This article presents a systematic analysis of the main management styles of officers in the structural units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, which has acquired particular relevance and significance in the current context. It is argued that the choice of a particular style is the result of an officer's deliberate selection and subsequent application of the most effective forms, techniques, and methods of managerial influence on subordinates and the military collective in order to achieve positive results. A modern management style must be sufficiently flexible and fully correspond to the nature and specifics of the tasks performed by the structural units. Worthy of note is the author's conclusion that developing a personal military management style, as well as realizing all the positive potential inherent in it, requires significant spiritual effort (expenditure) from the officer.
