<jats:p>After gaining independence in 1991, the Republic of Armenia has attempted to introduce a number of institutional changes in its system of governance. This article analyzes, discusses, and examines what kinds of reforms have been implemented and the paths they have followed. These reforms have taken place in the context of public administration, constitutional reforms, the fight against corruption, the development of foreign and domestic policies, and the need to introduce more effective tools in the social, security, economic, cultural, educational, and other sectors. In essence, these reforms have been both successful and, at the same time, in need of repeated reconsideration and revision.</jats:p>
