A “World-Wide Web” for Mediation in the AI Era

<jats:p>Modern diplomacy is being radically transformed by digital transformation, which is fostering the development of more adaptable and network-based engagement models. This study looks at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) as an example of hybrid diplomacy, which incorporates non-state actors, civil society, technological stakeholders, and international public opinion into diplomatic processes in order to go beyond the state-centric and closed-door negotiation practices of the Westphalian system. The article situates ADF within the larger trend towards multi-stakeholder diplomacy shaped by algorithmic thinking and emphasises its applicability in dealing with asymmetric threats like cyberattacks, disinformation campaigns, and transnational terrorism, where conventional diplomatic tools are frequently inadequate. The role of AI-assisted mediation, particularly through Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies, is highlighted.</jats:p>
