Abstract

This chapter critically examines how coaching and mentoring frameworks can be used to guide students in creating entrepreneurial ventures that utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI) and address the ethical, ecological, and societal challenges emerging in a data-driven world. As AI technologies disrupt traditional industries and reshape global labour markets, there is an increasing need to educate future entrepreneurs who are not only technically skilled but also ethically conscious and socially responsible. Drawing on global teaching and learning case studies, this chapter explores experiential education models in higher education that integrate AI literacy, human-centred design, ethical reasoning, and sustainability principles into entrepreneurial coaching. The chapter also questions the inherent limitations and risks of AI systems, including algorithmic discrimination, ecological harm, and the commercialisation of personal data. By equipping learners with holistic and future-orientated mindsets, it argues that AI can transcend mere technological disruption, supporting economies.
