IZVOR for all Macedonian Journals: A National Platform for Advancing Scholarly Publishing and Open Science, ИЗВОР за сите македонски списанија: Национална платформа за развој на академско објавување и отворена наука

<jats:p>BACKGROUND: The evolving landscape of scholarly communication, driven by open science, digital publishing, research integrity, artificial intelligence, and new evaluation frameworks, has created opportunities and challenges for academic publishing. To address these developments and strengthen the quality, visibility, and sustainability of scholarly publishing in North Macedonia, IZVOR for all Macedonian Journals has been established as a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. AIM: To present the mission, scope, editorial framework, thematic focus, and publishing model of IZVOR for all Macedonian Journals and to outline its role in promoting excellence in scholarly publishing, open science, and scientific communication at both national and international levels. METHODS: This editorial overview describes the journal's objectives, editorial policies, thematic sections, publication categories, peer-review process, and continuous publication model. It summarizes the journal's strategic framework for supporting evidence-based editorial practices, research integrity, open-access publishing, digital innovation, bibliometric research, capacity building, and the internationalization of Macedonian scientific journals. RESULTS: The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform encompassing six thematic sections related to scholarly publishing, editorial management, research integrity, bibliometrics, digital publishing, scientific communication, and journal development. It adopts a continuous publication model with rigorous peer review and supports publication in Macedonian and English to enhance national dissemination and international visibility. By promoting open science principles, editorial transparency, methodological rigor, and collaboration among researchers, editors, librarians, publishers, and policymakers, the journal aims to strengthen the national research ecosystem and improve the global recognition of Macedonian scientific journals. CONCLUSION: IZVOR for all Macedonian Journals represents an important initiative for advancing scholarly publishing in North Macedonia. Through its commitment to open access, research integrity, editorial excellence, and multidisciplinary collaboration, the journal seeks to foster innovation in scientific communication, support sustainable journal development, and increase the international visibility and impact of Macedonian research.  </jats:p>
