Göç, Mültecilik ve Kadın

<jats:p>Göç, özellikle kadınlar açısından yaşamın birçok yönünü derinden etkileyen ve çok boyutlu zorluklar barındıran bir nüfus hareketidir. Göç bazı fırsatlar sunmasına rağmen, yeni bir topluma uyum süreci göçmen ve mülteci kadınlar için yoğun stres ve kırılganlıklarla içerebilmektedir. Birçok kadın, cinsiyete dayalı şiddet, yoksulluk, temel ihtiyaçların karşılanamaması, siyasi baskı veya organize suç örgütlerinin tehdidi nedeniyle ülkelerini zorla terk etmektedir. Göç öncesindeki travmatik deneyimlere, göç yolculuğu boyunca yaşanan riskler ve varış ülkesinde karşılaşılan dil bariyeri, ayrımcılık, kayıt dışılık, ekonomik güvencesizlik ve toplumsal dışlanma gibi ek güçlükler de eklenmektedir. Bu çalışma, göçmen ve mülteci kadınların küresel ve Türkiye özelindeki durumunu toplumsal cinsiyet ve kesişimsellik perspektifiyle ele almakta; karşılaştıkları yapısal sorunları ve bu sorunlara karşı sosyal hizmet uygulamalarının rolünü incelemektedir. Migration is a population movement that profoundly affects many aspects of life, particularly for women, and poses multidimensional challenges. While migration offers some opportunities, the process of adapting to a new society is fraught with intense stress and vulnerabilities for immigrant and refugee women. Many women are forced to leave their countries due to gender-based violence, poverty, the inability to meet basic needs, political oppression, or threats from organized crime. The traumatic experiences prior to migration are compounded by the risks experienced throughout the migration journey and the challenges faced in the destination country, such as language barriers, discrimination, informality, economic insecurity, and social exclusion. This study examines the situation of immigrant and refugee women globally and in Turkey from a gender and intersectionality perspective, examining the structural challenges they face and the role of social work practices in addressing these challenges.</jats:p>
