Abstract
<jats:p>This article examines the functional features of proper names (onyms) in the regional political discourse of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The research material consists of 367 text messages from the socio-political Telegram channel "Bashkirsky Domovoy" (2019-2020). The author analyzes a corpus of anthroponyms, toponyms, ergonyms and cryptoclassifiers, identifying their role in narrative formation, constructing the image of authority and representing regional identity. Special attention is paid to the phenomenon of the author's "pseudonymic mask" and its impact on the onomastic worldview. The study employs an anthropocentric approach to onomastics, which considers proper names not as static labels, but as dynamic tools of discursive practices.
