Abstract

Children born after assisted reproductive technologies (ART) are at increased risk of developing various adverse health conditions, including low Apgar scores, neonatal complications, and specific pathologies such as intraventricular hemorrhage, resulting in a longer hospital stay and subsequent hospitalization [1, 2]. These children are six times more likely to have extremely low birth weight, intrauterine growth retardation, and morphofunctional immaturity. Some authors argue that health status does not correlate with the method of conception [3-6].
