Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph presents the results of studies of the vital state аnd adaptive potential of Picea A. Dietr. plants in the conditions of an industrial city of the steppe zone of Ukraine. The peculiarities of assimilation apparatus and reproductive potential of P. abies and P. pungens in stands with different levels of aerotechnogenic impact of the city of Kryvyi Rih were clarified. We assessed the decorativeness and prospects of plants of the two species of the genus Picea in an urban-technogenic environment and determined the іnformative indicators for bioindication of environmental pollution by air pollutants. For specialists in ecology, botany, students of higher education institutions, as well as specialists in horticulture and park management.</jats:p>
