Abstract
<jats:p> The article examines the issue of maintaining high competitiveness and operational efficiency of modern organizations in the market. It is substantiated that in the conditions of dynamic scientific and technological progress and a rapidly changing external environment, organizations are compelled to continuously improve and transform. To adapt to environmental changes, organizations may undergo transformations in various domains, including digital, organizational and managerial, techno-technological, and human resource and cultural spheres. It has been identified that most Ukrainian enterprises currently operate within the framework of the Industry 3.0 concept, which involves automation, the use of electronics, and local IT solutions, resulting in their significant lag in the techno-technological and digital spheres. Emphasis is placed on the necessity of implementing techno-technological and digital transformations of domestic enterprises in accordance with the Industry 4.0 concept. The use of artificial intelligence technologies, the Internet of Things, big data analytics, Industrial IoT (IIoT), digital ecosystems, augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), blockchain, autonomous robotics, cloud technologies, and digital twin solutions is proposed. Proposals have been developed for the development of domestic smart enterprises that can become growth poles and catalysts of change, spreading their impact through the multiplication effect to other enterprises, which in turn will have a positive impact on all domestic organizations. To ensure long-term competitiveness and efficiency of Ukrainian enterprises in the market, it is necessary to start preparing today to meet the requirements of the Industry 5.0 concept.</jats:p>
