Abstract
The article reveals the inclusive context of social cohesion among united territorial communities (UTCs) and districts of Ukraine, characterized by the consolidation and solidarity of local communities on the path of their inclusion in the process of social transformations to overcome spatial disparities, socio-economic inequality, injustice, and poverty. In the process of implementing the research goal, the European and domestic manifestation of social cohesion of UTCs and districts as administrative-territorial units and socio-spatial formations is characterized; problems that hinder the formation of social cohesion of UTCs and districts are identified; the role of various directions of spatial barrier-freeness in the formation of cohesion of the local inclusive environment is revealed; the priorities of the state policy of social cohesion are determined. It has been established that the further consolidation of the Ukrainian civil nation in the context of the country’s post-war reconstruction requires the focus of economic, sociological, and political sciences on conducting scientific research based on the principle of interdisciplinarity, which should trace the connections among social cohesion, local identity, and socio-spatial inclusiveness. The dependence of social cohesion on the economic well-being of human communities within the spatial boundaries of UTCs and districts, as well as on their psychological readiness to foster inclusion and good governance, has been demonstrated. Based on the study’s results, conclusions have been drawn, and issues requiring further scientific research in this area have been outlined. Keywords: barrier-free space, inclusive context, consolidation, united territorial communities, districts, solidarity, social cohesion.
