Abstract
The relationship between the socio-psychological climate and organizational effectiveness and team cohesion has been extensively studied for numerous years. However, during times of crisis and armed conflict, the role of the socio-psychological climate changes. It transforms from being a tool for motivating and strengthening team loyalty into a guarantee of the team’s (or organization’s) survival. The purpose of this study is to identify approaches to transforming the role of the socio-psychological climate under martial law. The research materials include works by domestic and foreign scholars on the patterns of building and developing the socio-psychological climate within organizations, collectives, and teams, as well as the transformation of its role in management practice. The main methods used in the work are analysis and synthesis, generalization and categorization, and comparison. This research paper explores the essence of socio-psychological climate and summarizes and analyzes approaches to understanding it. It identifies the key factors influencing the socio-psychological climate and the characteristics of its various dimensions. Researchers have investigated the transformation of the socio-psychological climate role (considering the key consequences and challenges of martial law), establishing key indicators of a supportive socio-psychological climate in wartime. Future studies should focus on developing diagnostic tools and refining and further developing methodological and practical guidance for establishing psychosocial safety and an innovative behavioral environment during wartime and the post-war period. Preferably, this will be based on the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will use effective psychological support tools and ecological management practices.
