Formation of a digitally oriented personnel management system for agricultural enterprises

<jats:p>The article examines the theoretical and applied foundations for developing a digitally oriented personnel management system for agricultural enterprises in the context of the economy’s digital transformation. The need to transition from traditional human resource management approaches to an integrated digital management system is substantiated. Such a system improves the efficiency of HR processes, enhances employees’ digital competencies, accelerates managerial decision-making, and strengthens the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. A conceptual model of a digitally oriented personnel management system is proposed, integrating strategic human resource management functions, digital HR technologies, information and analytical support, competency development, employee motivation, and performance evaluation. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed system, a scenario-based approach was used to enable a comparative evaluation of personnel management performance across different levels of digitalization. The findings demonstrate that the comprehensive implementation of digital HR technologies contributes to higher labor productivity, shorter HR process durations, improved employees’ digital competencies, and increased overall effectiveness of the personnel management system. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility for managers of agricultural enterprises to apply the proposed approaches to develop digital HR transformation strategies and improve the efficiency of human resource management.
