GAME AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPING LEXICAL SKILLS

<jats:p>The article examines the role of game-based technologies in developing lexical skills among schoolchildren learning a foreign language. It is emphasized that games not only facilitate the acquisition of new words and expressions but also foster motivation, communicative abilities, and creative thinking. The psychological and pedagogical advantages of game methods are described, examples of lexical games are provided, and their main methodological tasks are highlighted</jats:p>
