Abstract
The article presents the results of a survey of Ukrainian library professionals regarding their experience with and attitudes toward artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The aim of the study was to identify correlations between the respondents' professional roles, their library work experience, and their evaluation of the ethical, legal, and practical challenges of implementing AI in the library sphere. The survey covered 106 representatives of libraries from various regions of Ukraine, including both researchers and practitioners. The results showed that 73% of respondents have experience using AI, although its usage is mostly occasional. Library managers demonstrate the greatest interest in and experience with AI applications but require deeper theoretical knowledge; library scientists display caution and lack of practical experience, whereas practicing librarians tend to overestimate their AI-related knowledge.
