EXPLOITATION AND TECHNOLOGICAL INDICATORS OF THE TRACTOR-MOUNTED TRACTOR ASSEMBLIES 8 SERIES OF FOREIGN MANUFACTURE

<jats:p>The John Deere 8320R and New Holland T8.410 Series 8 tractors, with engine power of 253 kW and 237 kW, respectively, are used for primary deep tillage. Ploughing units with generalpurpose PLN-8-40 moldboard plows and wide-cut high-speed PBS-8 plows are equipped for plowing. Analytical calculations of the main performance indicators of the units were carried out using the theory of calculating agricultural machinery and the industrial operation of the machine and tractor fleet. The John Deere 8320R + PBS-8 ploughing unit was tested in the field after harvesting the predecessor of chickpeas. Theoretical and experimental studies were used to analyze the operational and technological indicators of the John Deere 8320R + PBS-8 and New Holland T8.410 + PBS-8 ploughing units. The traction characteristics of the New Holland T8.410 tractor were determined in the speed range of 1.13- 3.43 m/s: the traction force was 150.14-52.96 kN, the traction power was 169.97-178.56 kW, and the specific fuel consumption was 2.66-3.09 kg/kW h. Similarly, for the John Deere 8320R tractor, in the speed range of 1.28-3.36 m/s, the traction force was 124.2-55.49 kN, the traction power was 158.82- 187.26 kW, and the specific fuel consumption was 2.97-3.39 kg/kW h. The plowing depth, ridged surface of the arable land, and the quality of soil crumbling corresponded to the agrotechnical requirements. The operational productivity per hour of prime time was 3.2 hectares at a working speed of 2.2 m/s for the John Deere 8320R + PBS-8, and 3.0 hectares for the New Holland T8.410 + PBS-8 at a speed of 2.1 m/s. Both units implemented the technological process within the framework of current agricultural requirements, achieving high operational and technological indicators.</jats:p>
