Водная безопасность и природная среда. Китайский путь

<jats:p>В современных условиях социально-экономического развития Китай сталкивается с острым дефицитом водных ресурсов. Уровень водообеспеченности в стране низок и неравномерно распределен по регионам и по сезонам года. Решение проблем водной безопасности в Китае в основном связывают с гидротехническими мегапроектами, такими, например, как строительство плотины «Три ущелья» на реке Янцзы и проект переброса речной воды через систему каналов с юга на север страны. Масштаб проектов обуславливает соответствующее воздействие на природную среду с трудно прогнозируемыми экологическими последствиями.</jats:p> <jats:p>In modern conditions of socio-economic development, China is facing an acute shortage of water resources. The level of water availability in the country is low and unevenly distributed regionally and seasonally. The solution to water security problems in China is mainly associated with hydraulic engineering megaprojects, such as the construction of the Three Gorges dam on the Yangtze River and South-to-North Water Diversion Project involving the transfer of river water through a canal system from the south to the north of the country. The scale of the projects determines the corresponding impact on the natural environment with difficult to predict consequences.</jats:p>
