Abstract

<jats:p>The change in the information age requires higher education to find effective methods and means of teaching future teachers to use graphic information in their professional activities. Digital technologies have significant potential for ensuring the effectiveness of such a process. The implementation of digital technologies in the process of forming graphic literacy of future teachers of vocational training creates conditions for the development of their professional competence, technical thinking, creative abilities and readiness for effective professional activity in the conditions of digital transformation of education. The key features of the use of digital technologies within the framework of the study are: integration into the methodology of practical classes of such a form of work of applicants as the performance of graphic tasks using the latest software; intensification of the educational activities of applicants in the direction of mastering knowledge about the creation and use of graphic content in professional activities; personalization of the formation of graphic literacy of future teachers-engineers based on the application of the method of creative graphic projects. It was determined that modern computer graphics and 3D modeling software are an effective tool for professional training of future teachers of vocational education, as they allow optimizing the process of performing graphic tasks, ensuring the individual pace of students' work and at the same time improving the quality of graphic training. In the process of performing creative graphic projects, students gained experience working with digital platforms, improved their skills in searching, analyzing and visualizing information, developed the ability to work in teams and present the results of their own activities. At the same time, the use of digital technologies provided prompt feedback, the possibility of correcting errors, self-assessment and reflection of the results of students' educational activities regarding the state of formation of graphic literacy.</jats:p>
