Abstract
<jats:p>The relevance of the chosen problem is due to the need to consider the academic stability of a modern teacher as the basis for ensuring the quality of education in the face of global challenges. At the same time, the academic stability of a teacher is substantiated as the main characteristic of his professional culture, an indicator of freedom, honor, dignity and will, and the ability to make rapid positive changes at a fundamental level. The article emphasizes that in a period of existential challenges, only a teacher with an innovative type of thinking can provide quality educational services in a higher educational institution. A teacher who has carried out an existential rethinking of his life and professional activities and is able to perceive the challenges of the time, act quickly, competently, consciously and purposefully, adhering to the interests of the state and the nation, universal and national values. Therefore, this problem outlines the current aspects of the transformation of the professional activities of educators, which requires a combination of academic competence, professional sustainability and national responsibility. A modern teacher, in the process of organizing educational activities, must rely on historical truth, national memory, national ideals, national consciousness, and other factors. It has been proven that in the conditions of a protracted crisis, the scientific community and educators face the task of clearly defining and adhering to professional and value orientations in their scientific and pedagogical activities that will ensure the quality of knowledge. At the same time, they will contribute to the formation of national identity through the introduction, or rather, the renewal and separation of Ukrainian culture, history, traditions, language, art, etc. from Russian culture. That is, determining the priority values of modern Ukrainian society, their implementation in everyday life and pedagogical activity.</jats:p>
