Estimation of the impact of social context on the prognosis of traumatic brain injury in a 13-year-old adolescent, patient of the maternal and child hospital of Durango, Durango: Mexico

<jats:p>Trauma to the brain is one of the most important problems at the pediatric level due to the death or disability it causes. Although it is a frequent reason for requesting medical attention in emergency services [Garduño Hernández, 2000], there is little information about the implications and effects it entails at a social level. Objective: Recognizing the transcendental value of the patient's social context within a prognosis regarding this condition: Traumatic Brain Injury. Methodology: Mixed.</jats:p>
